LOL, I have to admit... Gaming at 1920x1080 Resolution does give an incredible advantage in visibility. Yesterday I must have had like 200 head shots with the GOL.
My game has seriously improved... Rig does matter.

Hmm... a reason to upgrade for the holidays?
I mean my rig runs this game perfect. It's still a Q6700, 8GB, 300GB V-raptor, ATI 4890 1GB. Not the newest on the market by any stretch, but not too old either. I'd like to see the difference w/ the Eyefinity "experience"
Funny part to that survey:
Do you think ATI Eyefinity technology gives gamers an unfair advantage? - No (79%, 493 Votes)
- Yes (21%, 131 Votes)
Total Voters: 624

Yeah, I'll admit it... I voted no, LOL
I must say the resolution makes a big difference. I read some people complaining about frame rates at 1920 x 1080, but I don't have any frame rate issues. Game runs smooth as silk and the maps look "sic" (Yeah... I know, Bobbo talk) in game.

Wow, I didn't know what Eyefinity was until I clicked the 2nd link. WOW! Looks Like I know what I want for Christmas now!
But can you use 2 displays or do you have to have 3 to take advantage of Eyefinity?

You have to use 3 monitors....AND one of them has to have the new interface. It's kind of like a usb connector. Not too many monitors out there with them yet....I have the 5770 so I can run it...I have my 28" monitor and a secondary 22" need another 22" with the new interface....not sure if I would be able to run it on the different sized monitors though...would have to get 2 more 28" ones...hehehehe....my desk is big enough...or I could put them on the wall....hahahaha

Ghost says they have poles you can put in and install the monitors on. Then you can move them up and down or angle them as you would like. I'm goingto look into those for sure as you can also hang surround sound on those.

You can run Eyefinity with the staggered monitors however from what I understand with the latest BC2 patch custom resolutions are no longer supported. This isn't an issue on other games though.. 5760x1080 or any multiple of already supported resolutions would be activated through the Eyefinity Profiler.
There are a couple of things to keep in mind though (which is why I went with the 5870-Eyefinity6), the DVI signal doesn't support resolutions that high from what I understand, so one monitor needs to be connected via displayport to compensate. For cards that have two DVI outputs and one Displayport output, this requires an ACTIVE displayport adapter which can run about $100. But this brings up new issues with stability, these adapters are known to cause glitching and flashing, and sometimes loss of signal all together. The best active adapters come from Dell ( click), but they're not perfect. Stay away from the Apple (mini-DP->DVi) adapters..
There is another way, get yourself a monitor that natively supports Displayport. They're pricey.. I believe certain Dell monitors support it.
Eyefinity is still new tech and CCC has it's own set of HUGE issues, one of my displays often goes black requiring me to power off the display and power on.. this is solely a CCC issue not a hardware issue. If I could do it all over, I would have got this..

Bany, you can use two monitors however it's not considered Eyefinity (lol) and your crosshair would be in the monitor's bezel (as you'd need bezel compensation on).
